Work today was spent packaging food to give to refugees (also called beneficiaries) tomorrow, mostly Congolese with some people from Rwanda and Burundi as well. The ones I met were very kind and, to me, highly intelligent. None of them speak less than three languages and seemed resourceful in a tough situation. I have not brought a camera to work which is why there are no photos from these areas so far.

Darlene is going to the airport at 4:30 am tomorrow morning for her flight to the Central African Republic. We are going to bed early and, though it is a short trip, I will miss her. So, rather than a long post, here are more pictures of the flowers we showed a few days ago. They make me happy and remind me that she will be back soon.

And speaking of reminding, I will remind Darlene that she owes this blog a post!
