I am sitting in the Dulles airport. David has boarded his plane and is heading toward our eventual destination--Nairobi. We'll spend a day apart in our various itineraries, but I'm so glad he'll be waiting for me on the other end--a first for my work trips.
I set up this blog in 2007, not knowing what path God would guide me down. Sitting here waiting for my flight to board, I'm in a contemplative mood, thinking about the changes five years have brought. I am thankful.
David and I hope to use this blog to update friends and family on our adventures in Nairobi and beyond for the next three months. hope you enjoy!

I'm in Nairobi and so tired I can't feel feelings. Thoughts on Kenya so far? None. I haven't left the arrival lounge. Although I will say they have great mango juice at one of their restaurants. I bet I could make some great smoothies with my Kenyan brothers and sisters.
I'm off to watch planes until Darlene lands.
Just saw Darlene's plane land!!!
